Jeep tour – Samson’s Tomb and Tzora Forest
We meet at the Masrek nature reserve, at the entrance to the Burma Road and the jeep trail.
We set out on the Burma Road and its famous “serpentines”, and hear the amazing story of how the road was built and how it helped end the siege of Jerusalem in 1948.
We head to the traditional tomb of Samson the hero and his father Manoah on the mighty Tzora ridge. On the way we pass the JNF project of 37 sculptures inspired by biblical figures.
We finish with a drive through the pastoral Tzora Forest, ending at Moshav Tarum.
