Aminadav Forest covers about 7,000 dunams (1,700 acres) west of Jerusalem. Its pine trees join the natural woodland
to form a green belt – the most significant open space available to the residents of Jerusalem.
We set out from Khirbet Sa’adim to the springs trail of the Aminadav ridge.
On the way we stop at Ein Sarig, which flows all year round.
The spring has a pool where we wade and have coffee or tea.
We hear about the area and then return through the spectacular scenery of the Jerusalem forests to Khirbet Sa’adim.
