Tour route:
We set out from the village of Avnat toward a lookout over the Kidron stream, which flows from east of Jerusalem down to the Dead Sea.
We drive up the mountain to see the beautiful ridges of the Moab mountains reflected in the shore of the sea.
From there we make our way through a date palm plantation to the Dead Sea. We walk down to the shore, get an explanation, feel the water and touch the mesmerizing salt crystals of the beach!
We get back into the vehicles and continue to the Einot Tzukim nature reserve, where we tell the historical story of the place from Hasmonean times.
We stop to refresh at the Ein Feshkha spring and from there return to the starting point!
