Jeep tour – Kislon River (Masrek nature reserve – Burma Road)
We board the jeep and head to Kibbutz Tzuba in the Jerusalem Mountains, enter Kislon River and stop to refresh at Ein Limon,
a spring flowing in the heart of the wadi, surrounded by traditional agriculture preserved to this day.
We continue to the Martyrs’ Forest and the B’nai B’rith Cave. The forest was planted by the B’nai B’rith organization in memory of the six million who perished in the Holocaust.
From Kislon River we head out onto the Burma Road and drive along it, hearing the story of how the road was paved and of the battles in the area.
The jeep trail – Convoy Ridge – we enter the jeep trail and climb up the Convoy Ridge, which overlooks the main road to Jerusalem,
and hear about the fighters in the outposts, stopping at a lookout over Outpost 21.
From Outpost 21 we descend along a mountain road to the Jerusalem – Tel Aviv highway and finish the tour at Mitzpe HaRel.
