Rappelling in Hatzatzon River
Hatzatzon River – Wadi al-Hasasa (“the charging wadi”)
One of the best-known streams of the northern Judean Desert and one of the most beautiful in Israel. It is a long stream that takes a two-day trip, starting with a jeep ride
to the head of the stream, setting up camp, dinner, an overnight stay, and setting out on the route early in the morning.
Hatzatzon is famous for its high waterfalls – the tallest reaches 120 meters.
The stream has 9 waterfalls, and crossing it requires a skilled team to lead the way – an extraordinary experience.
You don’t have to rappel the highest waterfall; there is a bypass waterfall that is also very beautiful.

35 m overhanging (can be bypassed); a 55 m drop – 35 m positive, 20 m overhanging;
